Will individual tickets be sold?

A limited amount of individual tickets will go on sale on May 1.

What time does the event begin?

5:30 p.m.  Champagne reception
6:20 p.m.  Gourmet dinner
7:50 p.m.  Intermission
8:10 p.m.  Remarks and musical program
9:45 p.m.  Concert concludes

What is the attire for the event?

Summer cocktail attire is suggested. Dinner and the concert will take place outdoors and coastal evenings can become cool, so we recommend bringing a jacket or wrap. There are no heaters in the Main Courtyard.

Will a meal be provided?

Yes, following a champagne reception, attendees will be served a duo of chicken or fish, unless a vegetarian/vegan option was selected and wine while the sun sets over the Pacific Ocean and basks the courtyard in a warm glow.

Who will be providing the musical entertainment?

This year’s concert under the stars will feature a thrilling private performance by the talented San Diego Symphony and special guest stars The Bacon Brothers, led by Emmy-winning composer Michael Bacon and acclaimed actor and musician Kevin Bacon. It’s sure to be a spectacular night of music.

Is there parking at the event?

Sponsors have complimentary parking in the East and West lots.

Can I use my Donor Advised Fund (DAF) to pay for my Symphony at Salk sponsorship or ticket?

Salk recommends consulting your tax professional for guidance.

What if the event gets cancelled?

In the unlikely event Symphony at Salk is canceled due to inclement weather, all contributions will be considered nonrefundable donations to help to advance the critical scientific research at Salk.
