A Safe and Fun Symphony at Salk
Thank you for making plans to join us for the 25th Annual Symphony at Salk, a spectacular dinner and concert under the stars in the Courtyard of the iconic Salk Institute. To ensure the safety of all guests, vendors and staff, we have put in place safety guidelines following public health recommendations from federal, state and local authorities. Symphony at Salk is a mask-friendly event and we encourage attendees who want additional protection to wear a mask during the event. Masks will be made available upon arrival to all event attendees.
If you feel ill at any point prior to the event, we ask that you remain home and do not attend. If you begin to feel ill at the event, please place a mask on if you are not wearing one and exit the event immediately or ask for assistance from a Salk staff member.
If you have any other concerns before the event, please contact us at 858-597-0657.
Vaccine Proof Required or Negative COVID-19 Test
Over the last month, we have witnessed a resurgent COVID-19 pandemic with the infectious Delta variant driving increasing transmission rates. To ensure the safest experience for all attendees, we are requesting guests attending Symphony at Salk to provide either proof of vaccination, or proof of a negative FDA-Approved COVID-19 test result received within 72 hours of the event start time of 6 p.m. All Salk staff, volunteers and vendors will be asked to provide the same verification and pass a symptom screen.
What You Need To Do Before Saturday’s Event:
- Locate your CDC vaccine verification card and either bring it or take a photograph of it to present when you check-in on Saturday night, or
- Obtain a digital copy of your COVID-19 vaccine record (applies to CA residents only) by registering at the state portal. Once registered, you can download a digital proof of vaccination.
- Unvaccinated guests may enter the venue by sharing proof of a negative FDA-Approved COVID-19 test received within 72 hours prior to the event start time of 6 p.m.
All attendees will be asked to verify they are free of any symptoms related to COVID-19 upon arrival at the event entrance, in addition to displaying a vaccine card or proof of a negative test. You can review the updated Symphony at Salk Health and Safety Protocols here.
Symphony at Salk is a mask friendly event. All staff and vendors will be masked for the duration of the event. Guests will be offered masks upon arrival and can choose to wear them if they are already vaccinated. Consistent with public health guidelines, we ask that non-vaccinated guests wear a mask at all times with the exception of eating and drinking while seated.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we navigate the challenges of this pandemic and we look forward to sharing a wonderful night of music, food, and beautiful views with you. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate email us at email@example.com.
